1966 Ford Mustang

This beauty goes by the name of Patches.

She has been through a head-to-toe transformation. When owner, Melissa Wright and husband James Wright, bought patches in 2024, she had beautiful interior, but a rough paint job. What, Melissa thought was going to be an easy sand and repaint, became an entire remodel. Patches was full of rust and covered up with Bondo. The more they removed the more holes they found. She was sanded down and stripped apart revealing damages from an accident causing her to be way out of alignment. With the help of friend Julian Espinoza from JEAR Automotive, Melissa and James were able to correct the alignment and upgrade all the metal work in the car, which sparked the idea of the iconic name of Patches!

With a clean slate, Melissa and James added a hood scoop and a wide body kit to give Patches the mean muscle car aesthetic we all love! After months of hard labor and much deliberation, Melissa chose a custom orange and slate grey for the final paint colors, which was expertly applied by Julian Espinoza. Then the already beautiful black and cream interior was also given a facelift. Melissa stained the cream a beautiful black chrome to give Patches the black beauty elegance she rightfully deserves! Then of course, what girl can go out with a new dress and not get a gorgeous pair of shoes to go with! Patches was given a beautiful set of custom wheels and tires along with door lights sporting her iconic name and orange belly lights, so she'll light up the night in style!

The work didn't stop there! We can't just have a bitchin' roadster, she needs to sound mean and pack a punch! James upgraded her previous engine to a Ford 302 (5.0L High Output) V8 small-block giving Patches a whopping 400 ponies under her hood! This baby was built for performance, and owner's Melissa and James Wright are eager to see what their work delivers on the streets!
